Rowing Victoria Pathway 8+ 2023
Rowing Victoria is seeking nominations to be considered for selection on the 2023 Victorian Pathway Under 18 Rowing Team.
Coaches seeking selection are required to complete the nomination form by 5:00pm Wednesday 22nd February 2023.
Athletes, including coxswains, seeking selection are required to complete the nomination form by 5:00pm Monday 3rd April 2023.
The Pathway Eight competition is an Interstate schoolboy/schoolgirl regatta held annually at Australian underage selection trials. In 2023 this event is scheduled to be held at Sydney International Regatta Centre from 26th – 28th April. This offers current school registered athletes the opportunity to be selected in an Under 18 Victorian State Team and gives young rowers the experience of what the future opportunities in rowing are with Club, State and Australian representation.
Coxswains seeking selection must provide a short CV of no-more than one page to selectors@rowingvictoria.asn.au. Coxswains must have proved they can make the weight limit (as per RV Rule 28 and Appendix 16 - RV State Team Selection Policy) and steer an eight straight.
Coaches seeking selection must provide a short CV of no-more than one page to selectors@rowingvictoria.asn.au. It is expected that coaches seeking selection make themselves available for Selection Trials.
