Life Saving Victoria offers First Aid Training across the state. You can view their courses, and enrol, through the LSV training portal.

IN-HOUSE TRAINING COURSES

LSV also delivers 'in-house' training for sporting clubs if you cannot find a public course close by – one of their qualified trainers comes to your nominated site. 

To enquire about conducting a group course please complete the 'Group Training' form at the top of their training portal page.

Previous costs involved for this are below – please note there has been a minimum charge of 12 candidates per course. If you host a First Aid and a CPR Update at the same time, the minimum applies across both course types. This information will be confirmed by LSV when arranging your booking.

MINIMUM CANDIDATES 12 (for all courses)    
MAXIMUM CANDIDATES 24 (for all courses)    
RATE $150 per person. $110 per person.  $55 per person.
MIN. FEE All courses have a minimum fee equivalent to the price of the minimum number of candidates. Any candidates over and above the minimum fee are charged at the quoted per person rate.    
DURATION 5 hours + online content to be completed prior to the session. 5 hours + online content to be completed prior to the session. 2 hours + online content to be completed prior to the session.

 

EQUIPMENT AND FACILITY REQUIREMENTS

LSV will provide equipment that exceeds industry standards and workplace requirements. Your organisation will be responsible for ensuring a suitable training facility is provided, including the following equipment upon booking your course; training room, whiteboard, projector Screen, sufficient floor space for CPR, and tables and chairs for each candidate.

 

MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID TRAINING & RESOURCES

Mental Health First Aid Australia offers a range of first aid courses throughout the state, with online and in-person courses available.

The courses teach participants how to recognise the signs and symptoms of mental health problems, as well as practical skills to help somebody experiencing a mental health problem or crisis. Sporting clubs are a safe space for many individuals, and having trained Mental Health Officers at your club can help ensure your members are receiving the support they need and deserve.
