Rowing Victoria would like to invite you to put in your expression of interest to host a regatta for the 2022/2023 season.
While fully supporting incumbent regattas, it is important that the Competition Commission gives consideration to meeting the needs of the entire RV membership.
If applicable, the Competition Commission will also give consideration to innovative events such as compressed formats and colsolidated boat classes.
The awarding of a regatta will be based on the following criteria;
- The Competition Commission has assessed the regatta and fully agree that it meets the quality standards of an RV sanctioned regatta;
- Provided the incumbent regatta has met the quality standard required, it will get preference;
- The regatta meets the needs of the entire RV membership;
- The Regatta Host considers their own regatta’s 5 and 10 year plans; and
- Preference is given for Championship events.
