NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Committee of The Head of the Schoolgirls Regatta Committee Incorporated (Association) is pleased to invite you to attend its 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Venue: Wesley College, St Kilda Rd campus, Waugh Room.
Enter via High St gate (boom gate between Victorian College of the Deaf school and large cream brick building).

These Notes form part of the Notice of Annual General Meeting.

Right to attend and vote
The only persons eligible to attend and vote at the 2024 AGM are the Members, pursuant to rule 14.1 of the Association's Rules.

Invitation to non-members
Persons who are not Members are invited to attend the 2024 AGM and may submit questions in writing to the Secretary by sending an email to llaussen@fintona.vic.edu.au no later than 5.00pm, 8th November 2024, subject to the ultimate discretion of the Chairperson to conduct the meeting in an orderly and appropriate manner.

Registration
Persons wishing to attend the 2024 AGM must register their attendance via this event page no later than 5.00pm, 8th November 2024.

Committee Member Nominations
Nominations for committee positions are to be made using the attached nomination form. Forms must be received by the Secretary via email at llaussen@fintona.vic.edu.au at least 7 days before the commencement of the 2024 AGM.

Appointment of proxies
Each member entitled to vote at the 2024 AGM may appoint a proxy to attend and vote at the 2024 AGM.

A proxy need not be a member of Association.

Lodgement of proxy documents
For an appointment of a proxy for the meeting to be effective the proxy's appointment must be received by the Secretary via email at llaussen@fintona.vic.edu.au at least 24 hours before the commencement of the 2024 AGM.
