As the long build up to the Rio Olympics comes to its inevitable and exciting conclusion, the Victorian Rowing Coaches’ Network (VRCN), through Rowing Victoria will be holding its next Coaching Seminar:  The Olympic Rowing Coach – Performing Under Their Influence.

Build just a little bit of anticipation and be a small part of the 2016 Olympic experience at this event which will focus upon recognising the nature and quality of the relationship between coach and athlete and how it can have such a crucial effect on the athlete’s satisfaction, motivation and performance.

The Panel has been announced!

This is your chance to have your coaching questions fielded by the likes of Cameron McKenzie-McHarg (Olympic Silver 2008), Bill Tait (Olympic Silver coach 2012), David Crawshay (Olympic Gold 2008), and James Marburg (Olympic Silver 2008) .

In keeping with the quality of previous VRCN coaching seminars, these past Olympic rowers and Olympic rowing coach form the discussion panel.  Questions will be taken from the floor and discussion promises to be lively and informative.  This seminar will offer you greater context for your Olympic viewing experience and provide examples of how your own coach / athlete relationship can be improved to achieve better outcomes.
