PERFORMANCE AND BENCHMARK DATA
All athletes and coaches that are on the Victorian Rowing Pathway and are aspiring for Australian Rowing Team selection will benefit from knowing Rowing Australia's recommended paddling speeds for training (based on world best times); each should be striving to train, as often as possible, on these paddle speeds.
They are included below for your reference (Male and Female: Junior, Under 23 (Lightweight and Heavyweight).

SADA LEVEL 1 ANTI-DOPING ONLINE COURSE
Athletes wishing to nominate for the Australian Rowing Team this year must complete the ASADA Level 1 Anti-Doping Online Course. If an athlete nominating for the Australian Rowing Team completed this courses after 1 January 2015, then they are not required to re-take the course to submit their nomination. Athletes seeking selection to the Non-Olympic Senior A, Under 23, Under 21, Junior or University Australian National Rowing Teams should refer to the document titled: “Rowing Australia Limited – Australian National Rowing Team: Selection Policy - 2013-2016” which is separate to the Olympic and Paralympic Selection Policy Handbooks. Further details regarding these teams will be announced in due course.
