After five very successful seminars in the last six months,  Rowing Victoria is pleased to announce the next coaching seminar/workshop

– Transition – Rower to Coach –

Cost: $5 via the website before July 27    OR    $10 at the door

As Term 3 approaches, schools in particular, will be looking to appoint new coaches from the ranks of past rowers.  Many schools and clubs will thus benefit from the next scheduled RV Coaching Seminar for the forthcoming season: Transition – Rower to Coach.

Until now, the coaching seminar series has contributed toward the professional development of existing coaches; this seminar targets those individuals that are new to the fine art of coaching.  Year 12 students that are ready to brandish a megaphone rather than wield an oar, will find the content particularly relevant.

Clubs and schools should register their recently accredited and any potential coaches for this seminar to guarantee that all their coaches are ethically, professionally and practically prepared to assume the responsibilities of coach for season 2015-16.  RV would like all members of the coaching community to work cooperatively toward managing risks and achieving the same high standards.
