Application to Host a Regatta in the 2018/19 Regatta Season

- There is no fee required to accompany this Expression of Interest. If this application is successful, a Regatta Staging Agreement will be sent along with an invoice for the hosting fee.
- It is a condition of application that Regatta Committees accept their entries via Rowing Manager (all regattas) and use the approved regatta software of Rowing Victoria.
- Regatta hosts will be reviewed on an annual basis and feedback will be provided to the regatta hosts. If improvements are required, regatta hosts will be asked to demonstrate how they will achieve this.
- It is likely a post Regatta Survey will be created and distributed via Survey Monkey where athletes, officials and volunteer support will be asked to provide feedback on the general regatta experience. This information will be used to shape and improve our member’s calendar of events.
- Entry fees will be determined depending on the regatta venue and type of event experience being promoted (this is yet to be finalised by the RV Board)
- Events wishing to charge a higher fee than the standard recommended fee (for their category) must apply in writing with justification of the fee and attach to this expression of interest
