VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS
Indoor and outdoor physical recreation and sporting facilities are open.
If these facilities, are used for community sport (organised sports with membership), the Directives highlight that members participating or facilitating community sport (e.g. athletes, coaches, and volunteers) do not need to be vaccinated to access the facility. For our sport, the facility is the river/ waterway, boat storage shed, toilets and changerooms.
However, to access the indoor and outdoor facility (boat storage area, social rooms, gym, hospitality space, kitchen etc) for other than community sport, all attendees are required to be fully vaccinated, be under 16 or have a valid medical exemption.
For example, if using the club gym, or having a meal/ drink in the social rooms, 16yo+ attendees must be fully vaccinated or have a medical exemption.
INDOOR OPPORTUNITIES
If a Club has multiple indoor spaces, each can be used con-currently as outlined below:
- All indoor spaces including Gyms, Changerooms, cardio/ rowing machine and Canteens/ Bars/ social rooms can be used at a density quotient of 1 person per four square meters (DQ4).
- In the Canteen/ Bar/ Social room:
- Users are to remain seated unless ordering food/ drinks or going to the toilet.

UPCOMING REGATTAS
Currently, the Directions allow competition yet limit the numbers allowed to participate in outdoor sport to 500. As such we are scheduling upcoming regattas to be managed in 2 x groups 500.
As we are experiencing, the Directions change frequently and therefore the ability to increase the entries may also change. If this does occur, we will advise the community as soon as practical.
Currently, in accordance with the Stay Safe Directions, spectators are able to gather in groups of 30 and any group gathered in a public place must take reasonable steps to maintain a safe distance from any other group in that public place. There are currently no vaccination requirements for spectators of Community Sport.
