Farewell & Thank you - Resignation of RV CEO Nick Gall

On behalf of the Board of Rowing Victoria I am writing to advise that we have accepted the resignation of our Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Nick Gall. This is effective as of Wednesday 8 April.
Nick has made many contributions to RV and the broader Rowing Community over the last 10 years. Most notably, over this period Nick managed a significant growth in membership and participation. In the last seven years our affiliated members have grown from 4,800 to 8,500, and the number of regatta seats has increased from 21,000 to just over 40,000. regatta participation.
Much of this growth is due to the work Nick has undertaken to grow the number and size of events for our members including a move to less traditional events such as indoor and coastal rowing.
The Board will appoint an interim officer to oversee the activities of RV and staff and will commence the recruitment of a new CEO shortly.
Please join the Board in acknowledging Nick’s achievements and wishing him the best in his future endeavors.
