INTERIM UPDATE

WE’RE BACK!

LOCKDOWN 5.0 EASED FROM 11.59PM TUESDAY 27 JULY.

Gratefully, on the advice of the State’s public health team, the State’s lockdown will be eased from 11:59pm on Tuesday 27 July.

Relevant to our community, the following opportunities now apply for the next two weeks till 11.59 on Tuesday 10 August.

• Rowing Clubs and waterways are now open for training. This means there is access to social rooms*, change rooms, boats and/ or gyms*.

• COVID Check-in Marshals must ensure attendees check-in. This could be a coach.

*PLEASE NOTE, WE NEED TO AWAIT FOR FURTHER CONFIRMATION ON THE TOTAL & GROUP SIZE NUMBERS ALLOWED INDOORS; GYMS & SOCIAL ROOMS.

THIS WILL FOLLOW TOMORROW

• Competition allowed. Spectators not permitted

• Face masks must always be carried and worn indoors and outdoors when not exercising.

Upon the return to our clubs, it is now vitally important that QR codes are implemented (and used) as part of your COVIDSafe plans to enable streamlined contact tracing to take place if required.

If further community outbreaks occur, we ask that you review the published exposure sites, their exposure windows, exposure Tiers and the indicated necessary action in efforts to keep the community safe.

With exposure sites likely through the state and our community this reiterates the importance to take caution and adhere to COVIDSafe protocols.

If you become knowingly exposed to the virus or end up attending any exposure sites, continue to follow public health advice and COVID-Safe hygiene practices.

Rowing Victoria will continue to monitor the situation and communicate with the community surrounding exposure sites and public health advice.

Stay safe, Stay Rowing!
